The MP400 is a 400W/s power pack from the Roadmax series from Dynalite. It’s powerful and versatile enough to handle a wide variety of assignments like fashion, corporate work, portraiture, weddings and interior photography. The pack has 4 head outlets and breaks down its output symmetrically or asymmetrically over a 6 stop range with short flash durations at a super fast 1.0 seconds recycling time at full power.
A variator knob allows fine tuned exposure adjustments over 2 stops in 2/10 stop increments. The most popular way of utilizing the MP400 like other Roadmax series power packs is to utilize it’s wireless capabilities with the built-in 32-channel PocketWizard™ transceiver. Like the Road series power packs this Roadmax MP400 also can be fired with a standard sync cord (provided) or optical slave.
The 400w/s power pack when compared to the previous 500 w/s models are 1” shorter, 1/2 lb. lighter, and the recycling time is 60% faster!
Available in the Road Series as the RP400 or with a built-in 32 channel Pocket Wizard™ technology as the MP400 in the Roadmax Series.
